Our Philosophy

Inspired by classical art, dramatic lighting and simple moments. The team at CDP always treats weddings like a story, one they capture with an artistic and documentary edge. With moody black-and-whites and bold colors we strive to create the most honest represention of what happened througout the wedding day.

We are all about looking at weddings differently - that means working with clients who start new traditions for their wedding. We don't just focus on the big moments, we know how important the small ones are going to be years down the line. Your wedding is more than just a simple day and we want to tell that story.

Our style is documentary and focused on real emotion. Read more about our style here.

I'm an animal and human rights activist. I love traveling, riding my bike, and going to record stores. When I'm not shooting I'm having fun with my dogs, guinea pigs and horses. Those guys are my life.

Nick Seitler

Editor / Film Photographer

I got into photography through film and I shoot on a Pentax K1000 and a Yashica T4.  I adore the feeling of having one chance to get the perfect shot and the anticipation of seeing the final product. I especially love taking gritty B&W portraits.

I've always loved the beginning of stories and photography has introduced me to so many beautiful beginnings. From meeting for the first time, to hearing about that awkward first date, and finally seeing the first kiss as a married couple, I am all in.

Photography is my life and I has been for over 10 years, ever since I got my first point-and-shoot Kodak camera when I was 16. I strive to capture your memories and life events with care and honesty, These are your moments. I just get the privilege of documenting them for you. I promise that if you put your trust in me, I'll do everything I can to capture your memories with attention to beauty and light.
